Does MHE conduct site inspections prior to setting a home?
No. It is best for your local crane company to determine whether they can complete the job requested. At MHE, we always say, "If the crane company can pick up the modular units, then we can set them."
Does MHE set on Saturdays?
No. We reserve Saturdays for finish work required in preparation for the upcoming week's schedule. However, at our customer's requests, we will consider pending schedules and employee availability and do everything we can to accommodate your needs.
What time does the set crew arrive on site?
We aim to be on site no later than 7:00 a.m.
Does MHE provide a crane?
No. However, we are glad to provide you with contact numbers, or you can visit our resource page for a list of crane company names and phone numbers.
What size crane do I need?
Contact your specific crane company to determine what size crane you would need for your particular set.
If our crane company does not provide rigging, will MHE provide it?
Yes. We have all the rigging, however we do charge a fee. We also must be notified 24 hours in advance, since our trucks are not equipped with rigging at all times.
Does MHE have their own Toter truck to move modular units?
No. However, we can advise you on locations for Toter truck rental companies. Also, check with your crane company to see if they provide one.
What time does MHE require the crane to be on site?
If possible, under normal circumstances, by 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. so craning can begin by 8:00 a.m.
Does MHE place Lollie columns?
Yes. Whether they are adjustable or concrete filled tubing columns, we will cut or adjust to the correct length.
Does MHE install sill plates?
Yes. If you do not require a sill plate inspection prior to the set date and all material is provided, then it is possible for us to install the sill plate. This will be at an additional charge.
